Antalya’da Görülmesi Gereken Tarihi Yerler
1. Tarihi Kaleiçi, Antalya
Göz alıcı taşlarla süslü minareleri, taş döşeli dar sokakları, cumbalı ahşap evleri ve sakin avlularıyla Kaleiçi, nefis bir Ortaçağ yerleşimi. Roma, Bizans, Selçuk ve Osmanlıların izlerini taşıyan tarihi yapıların büyük bir kısmını halen koruyabilen, Anadolu’nun en eski kentlerinden biri.
Antalya’nın tarihi ruhunu bu sokaklarda görmek mümkün. Geçmişten süzülen bir inceliği sergileyen evlerin bahçelerinden sokaklara taşan begonviller taş evlere çok yakışmış. İki katlı, yüksek tavanlı dış sofalı evlerin büyük bir bölümü restore edilmiş. Genellikle 3 katlı olan evlerin çoğu butik otel, restoran, antikacı ve hediyelik eşya dükkanı olarak hizmet veriyor.
Kale Kapısı mevkiindeki dış surlar üzerinde bulunan 14 metre yüksekliğindeki Tarihi Saat Kulesi , 1901 yılında 2. Abdülhamit adına inşa ettirilmiş.
2. Yivli Minare, Kaleiçi
Antalya’nın sembol eserlerinden biri olan Selçuklu zamanından kalma tarihi Yivli Minare , şehrin hemen hemen her noktasından görülüyor. İlk gidilecek yerlerden kuşkusuz. Kesme taşlı kare bir blok üzerine yarım silindirli yiv şeklinde sekiz kuşağı ve firuze taşlarla bezeli 45 metrelik minaresiyle şehrin sembolu benim diyor. Tıpkı Paris’in Eyfel Kulesi gibi şehrin her tarafından görünüyor.
Selçulu hakimiyetinin simgesi, I. Alaeddin döneminde bir anıt olarak tasalnamış. Çevresinde Ulu Camii, Ulu Camii Medresesi, Atabey Armağan Medresesi, Antalya Mevlevihanesi, Zincirkıran Mehmet Bey ile Nigar Hatun türbeleriyle bir külliye oluşturuyor. Hepsi de görmeye değer önemli tarihi miraslar.
